Have you ever wondered exactly how many steps your animals actually accomplish? I often wonder how many both my dog Nova and my cat Smokey get any given day. Recently, I knew how the day was going to play out and I knew my movement goals included a spin class and that was just about all I had time for. I also, deep in my heart, knew it was therefore unlikely that I would meet my step goal if I went to spin class. My watch doesn’t seem to register the fact that my legs are zipping in circles and add that movement to my overall step goal of the day. Come on Garmin! Then, inspiration struck. I recalled a commercial that Organic Valley did to prove that their cows were active. They strapped fitness trackers on the cows legs!
